Nature Preserve Field Trip
Research means more than Google or Wikipedia. For students in Ms. Berry's ninth grade Intro to the Environment classes and Mr. Porigow's IB Environment class, research includes first-hand observations and interviews - in this case at Binghamton University's Nature Preserve. Students spent a morning observing the beaver activity in the preserve and listened to lectures from BU professors and nature preserve guides.
